Simorgh

Is this the Simorgh from Conference of the Birds? I totally dressed up as the Simorgh for a class performance. ^-^

It's designed very well-- almost art-nouveauish. Mucha comes to mind even though you're not playing with lines, and I think the reason is probably because of the decorative border and the flowing composition. How did you come up with your design for the Simorgh?

I do love the way she's represented as a chimera here...bird and bear? Way to use an old "I'm magic" symbol for an old story about something magical.
